Mathematics Content Coordinator

Coordinators are responsible for collaborating on the development of training materials and resources to promote the vision of National Math and Science Initiative. Coordinators must have a deep knowledge of the discipline, an understanding of the vertical articulation of skills and concepts across grade levels, extensive knowledge and experience with teaching Advanced Placement or Teacher Training courses, and knowledge of state and national standards. If you love your current career in education but are looking for additional opportunities in education, consider becoming a trainer for the National Math + Science Initiative. We are looking for exceptional teachers to promote the NMSI Teacher Training Program and provide trainings in their home states or nationally. These teachers need to:

  • Be content experts in math, science, or English
  • Have experience and expertise in adult instruction
  • Share the National Math + Science Initiative's mission to promote academic excellence
  • Have attended at least four modules of NMSI teacher training
