Behind Every Successful Person Is Great Teacher

We were preparing some thoughts around Teacher Appreciation Week and one of the stories was too good not to share. When Sara Martinez Tucker told a couple of business leaders that she was joining NMSI as CEO, both shared stories of how a great math or science teacher was the reason they were so successful.  It seems to be true - every great American story comes down to that one great teacher.
 
For Sara, the quote she shared that is just so powerful -
 
"There is that one teacher in your life who completely changes the way you think about yourself. When a teacher believes in you it is impossible not to believe in yourself"
