BECOME A NMSI COACH

NMSI is seeking highly successful Pre-K-12 teachers, instructional coaches, and school leaders who are inspired by our mission of advancing STEM education for all students to become members of our regionally based Coach corps. As a NMSI Coach, you will have the opportunity to support our core programs through content development and delivery to both teachers and students. 

Mentorship and more

NMSI Coach Corps works with AP and Pre-AP teachers from elementary to high school and school leadership teams to improve teacher impact. 

Our coaches also work with students to help identify skill gaps and learning needs to strengthen performance in rigorous coursework.

You could be the right addition for the NMSI Coach corps because:

 
  • You have STEM-based learning experience, experience in high-need schools or with high-need populations, and a proven track record of raising student achievement.
 
  • You believe in the ability of all students to acheive at high levels and are willing to advocate for equity and access in AP, Pre-AP or other STEM programs or classrooms.
 
  • You understand what effective teaching and effective school leadership looks like and a deep commitment to the importance of rigorous instruction.

Our hiring process begins with a resume review.
 

Selected candidates will then be asked to submit a recorded interview for the role. 

Chosen candidates will be invited to a pre-onboarding session that includes an offer to join the NMSI Coach corps.
