We are proud to support ELA educators and school/district leaders in addition to our STEM professional development. ELA courses directly support improved STEM literacy by enhancing skills in communication, collaboration, procedural writing, and other areas. We know that the key to building a strong STEM workforce is found in every classroom – not just the STEM ones.

NMSI supports educators in creating pathways to College and Career Readiness (CCR) courses in STEM and ELA for grades 3-12. This includes aligned instruction to prepare students for their chosen CCR pathways.
Barriers to access for CCR courses often include scheduling challenges, unmet prerequisites, and lack of availability. NMSI Leadership training focuses on overcoming these barriers to increase college readiness in STEM, particularly among underrepresented groups.

Whether you are a first-time NMSI-enrolled teacher or are ready to enroll for another successful year of professional development, the 2025-2026 Teacher Portal Enrollment Instructions will answer any questions you may have.
If you don’t see your available courses on your dashboard, don’t worry! After Portal enrollment, it can take up to 1 hour for courses to populate on your Maple Dashboard. Check back periodically as you wait for the courses to populate, and if after this time your dashboard is still empty or incomplete, reach out to our Customer Success team.
