Precalculus Webinar Series
Participants will have access to a series of six webinars throughout the school year. Participants will learn the course’s content, how to prepare students for AP style questions, how to deliver/leverage a mock exam, and a debrief and reflection session after the exam. These webinars will be led by expert NMSI coaches that are also launching their own AP Precalculus courses and will serve as key community nexus points for teachers.
Session 1 (September 11: 6 pm CT): Exploring, Planning, and Delivering Unit 1: Polynomial and Rational Functions
Session 2 (October 2: 6 pm CT): Exploring, Planning, and Delivering Unit 2: Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
Session 3 (November 6: 6 pm CT): Exploring, Planning, and Delivering Unit 3: Trigonometric and Polar Functions
Session 4 (January 8: 6 pm CT): AP Style Scoring and Mock Exam Planning
Session 5 (March 4: 6 pm CT): Analyzing Mock Exam Results and Plan for Exam Review
Session 6 (May 20: 6 pm CT): Deconstructing and Analyzing 2024 Exam Questions and Planning for 2024-25 School Year
