365 Days of Support

The College Readiness Program is part of NMSI 365 – year-round and holistic support for school systems, teachers, students and communities.

To date, the College Readiness Program has reached more than 1,400 public high schools across 36 states and D.C. and produced unparalleled positive student outcomes across a variety of settings — urban and rural, traditional and charter.

After one year of the program, partners schools see an average 41% increase in AP participation and an average 35% increase in college readiness for all students, with similar increases for female, Black and Latino students.

WHAT THEY SAY

"This is my second year in the NMSI program, and I've really enjoyed both the teacher training side of it, learning new techniques, talking and head-shopping with other teachers."

Leroy Tucker, AP Calculus teacher
Mundy's Mill High School, GA

"I feel like these NMSI sessions are really helping me prepare more for the test. Everybody learns differently, so it's nice to see different ways of doing things. "
Melanie Espinoza, student
IDEA College Prep San Juan, TX

"We have a lot of small group discussion from teachers around the country, just sharing ideas so it's been really good to collaborate with like-minded teachers."
