#GivingTuesday is a movement to celebrate smarter giving during the year’s biggest shopping and spending season. On December 3rd, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday will be a national reminder to be thankful, to support causes that make a difference, and to think differently about where our dollars go.

Here are just a few ways you can change lives through NMSI’s #GivingTuesday platform:

◦Tell your friends and family about #GivingTuesday:  Discuss what it might mean for you this year, and what your money can accomplish.  Start by forwarding this article!
◦Participate in #GivingTuesday:  No matter the amount, every dollar you give on December 3rd will support the nation’s best STEM education.  You’ll also be supporting an alternative to this season’s focus on spending!
◦Spread the word about #GivingTuesday: Join us on social media—Twitter, Facebook , or any other platform you enjoy—to share the link to this page on December 3rd.  Let your friends and followers know that NMSI is participating!
